Deep Roots

4th Gen Arbor Care was founded in late 2025 and represents the fourth generation of a family of woodsmen raised right here in the Texas Hill Country.

The third generation was my father and uncle, who founded F.T.S., a powerline maintenance tree service that operated throughout the region for more than 25 years.

The second generation was my grandfather, owner of Texas Cedar Products, a cedar mill that produced high-quality wood shavings for a variety of applications for over 20 years.

The first generation was my great-grandfather. After returning home from World War II, he found peace in the rolling hills around Medina and Leakey, making his living the old-fashioned way—cutting cedar fence posts and producing charcoal from the rugged landscape he called home.

Today, we continue that legacy.

We take great pride in our work because caring for trees and the land is part of who we are. We view trees as one of the Hill Country's most valuable resources, and we are passionate about preserving the natural beauty that makes this region unique.

By combining generations of practical experience with modern arboricultural practices and standards established by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), we strive to improve the health, safety, and longevity of every tree we work on.

Whether we're caring for a single tree in a backyard or managing vegetation across a large ranch, we see every project as an opportunity to leave the land better than we found it.

Deep Roots in the Hill Country.
